"എന്‍ കൌണ്‍ടെര്‍ ടു എന്‍ഹാന്‍സ് വാല്യൂസ്" എന്ന വിഷയത്തെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി പ്രസിദ്ധ കൌണ്‍സിലറായ ഡോ.വര്‍ഗീസ് ഫിലിപ്‌  യുവജന സെമിനാറില്‍  പ്രസംഗിക്കും.ഹെന്നുരിലെ ന്യൂ ലൈഫ് കോളേജ് ഓഡിട്ടോറിയത്തില്‍ സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍13 ന് രാവിലെ 9 മുതല്‍ വൈകിട്ട് 4 മണി വരെ യാണ് സെമിനാര്‍ .

യുവജനങ്ങള്‍ നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളെ  വചന അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ വിശകലനം ചെയ്ത്‌,യുവാക്കളില്‍ അന്തര്‍ലീനമായിരിക്കുന്ന ആന്തരിക മൂല്യങ്ങളെ ത്വരിതപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതായിരിക്കും സെമിനാര്‍.

Encounter to Enhance Values and Potentials

A seminar designed for the youth to encounter the unchristian ideologies that influence the values, potentials and personality as a whole. The seminar deals with the domains, dysfunctions, and development of values and potentials of young people.  It highlights the issues of sensuality (music and media), sensibility (suicide and substance abuse), sexuality (sexting and socializing), servitude (materialism and modern technology), stimulation (modesty and modernity), and spirituality (spiritualism and secular humanism). Further, it explains the impact of media on choices, conscience, and consciousness of young people. Special attention is given for the de-addiction of pornography, internet, sex, and other addictive behaviours. Moreover, it integrates psychology and theology to develop Christian values to enhance potentials for their wellbeing and wholeness. The seminar is based on the outcome of the research done in Bangalore city.
